Today we managed to get up early, and go for a hike. We were torn between the mountains or the coast? Hopped in the car, and along the way we took a drive through the steep hills of Point Loma. There was one open house along the way, but we did not go inside. However, we did stop to enjoy the view of downtown San Diego, the fog and the mountains in the distance.
Did the math, and decided to be on our way. Next stop, the sandstone cliffs of south Ocean Beach.
We tunneled around, enjoying the salty air. And stopped to swing on a rope swing that we found. Having eaten too many gluten-free pancakes, we were very full of energy. Maybe it was too much sugar. Anyway, we made it back home safe, to our dingy old apartment.

Mixing up some dyes tonight. What colors will the night bring? Perhaps some blues and reds. Probably blues and reds. Not quite ready for the greens and reds... The evenings are getting mildly chilly this time of year, and it is almost time to get out the space heater. Or keep baking GF Breads. That's right, San Diego.
Next on the spinning agenda, hand-dyed blues and oranges:
